This is the best action adventure mystery romantic thriller series I've read in the last ten years or more 😂. The audible versions are so good that instead of walking me softly to the land of nod, the first 5 or 6 times through they kept me up so late I had to switch to an old Heinlein to finally get to sleep. It has been a LONG time since I've seen an author so good that he doesn't need sex or filthy language to make your breath catch, or me to smack my kindle to turn the page. Characters that are so well developed I couldn't help but be sucked into rooting for the home team. Wife and daughter have both admitted to laughing and crying through the whole series. My eyes don't leak over books ,,, me swears it on the precious 😈

I continue to enjoy his books. I didn't mind that this was two stories in one and I like that he left it sort of open at the end for yet another adventure. I think Alice has matured and this wasn't all soppy love story-ish. Yes they are in love and yes they say it but they acted to me like any other couple would react to this situation. Didn't guess the bad guy this time which was awesome as I read page by page and didn't skip through. A great bargain from sealed the deal.
When I saw this book on , I knew I had to have it. Thinking I would just download and read later as I was in the middle of reading a different book. Once I read the description, I knew I had to read this right away. Bye bye other book. I have read the other books in this series and have eagerly waited for this one. I was not disappointed. I hated to put it down to get some sleep. From the beginning to the end I was captured by the story. The only thing I didn't like is that the next book isn't available yet. Thank you for once again providing me with a great read.
I've read each of the Jack Stratton series. If you liked the early Jack Stratton books, I think you will enjoy Jack Frost. If you are new to the series, I think this book can stand on it's own. It doesn't necessarily require the reader to know the back stories from the earlier books. I found Jack Frost to be a fun read with good action and interesting twists. I was pleased that this book goes light on the "romance" between Jack and Alice, which is an unnecessary distraction (personal opinion) in some of the more recent books in the series. I'm looking forward to seeing the direction Mr. Greyson takes Jack Stratton in the future.
This is author Christopher Greyson's newest addition to the Jack Stratton Mystery Thriller Series, and I'd rate it right at the top of the four books that I've read, so far. All have been 5-Star reads, as Greyson brings you a great character in the form of Jack Stratton, his writing is clear and concise, the plots are interesting, and his adding a sense of humor to his characters is much-appreciated, at least by this reader.
You can read a brief synopsis of this book on-line, so I won't re-hash what's already available to you, I'll, merely, state that if you are a fan of good mystery-thrillers, than you'll want to check out this book.
Great read I love this series and Jack and Alice and that big loveable dog they own. This story saw Jack and Alice separated because of the job Jack took and the storm that keep their communication at a minimum. Alice was a part of this story but not the same as when Greyson has the couple together to solve a crime. I do tend to like it better when Alice and Jack are working more closely together. It is a good read with a lot of twist and turns and you really can't help but love Jack. There is also a subplot that gets carried over from book to book which gives it depth especially for the characters. Greyson has a great series here and I look forward to reading more.
I literally canceled a weekend day's plans as I could not put this book down. It blends elements of Hitchcock and Ken Follett with a unique twist and a remarkable main character in a gripping thriller set on top of a mountain as men and murder collide. This was the first book in the series I have read but there was just enough backstory in the plot to explain who and what relationships were without distracting from the storyline, something that is not easy for an author to do. Although the plot has a subplot involving the main character's fiance, the two storylines never clash and the various twists and turns in the story appear seamless. Well done Mr. Greyson. I've already ordered more in the series.
I hope you continue to write. I can honestly say that you are definitely one of my favorite writers. Each book captures your attention from their very first paragraph to the last word. Thank you for keeping me wanting to read more and more, especially of your books. I'm sad now because I have to wait for you to write more books. I know there will be more of the Jack Stratton series because Jack and Alice aren't even married yet and Aunt Hattie is still alive, not that I want her to die, but usually when you fall in love with a character they die off. It will be sad but life must go on. Thank you Mr Greyson
